Stags and Hens
Nice weekend. Decent, civilised stag do which is what I wanted.
Lots of good friends many of whom I don't get to see as often as I'd like. Most on lj, some not, but you know who you are.
Archery was fun. Could have done with more than three arrows to a pair of us, but I suppose there were a few too many for anything else.
Obstacle course also good. We did it in two groups, with mine having the more experienced instructor, who wasn't as phased by the ease with which we worked together.
The river I ended up being forced to drop into from the rope crossing was very wet, but fairly warm.
Decent amounts of food later at the carvery. Plenty of Pimms. Pretty much everybody pleasantly steamed, nobody raucous. Several of us chatting away until the early hours at Matt's (winolj).
