We have a piece of paper that says the house is worth what we're paying for it. (Valuation has been done and says go ahead).

My bank account is £399 lighter (Halifax have cashed the cheque for mortgage arrangement).

Getting there. Main worry now is sorting movers.

Evidence of spring

pennyanne informs me that she was woken at 3 hours of the ante meridian by the sounds of catflap key knocking against plantpot.

The usual tabby suspect (Josie), who was curled up on the bed next to her also promptly woke annd they went to investigate. It transpired that small grey thing (Cally) was endeavouring to reach behind said plantpot to retrieve the mouse she had brought home. Swift work by Pen with a mug saw the rodent ejected into the back garden. The two felines spent the next half hour sniffing round where they had last seen it, convinced it should still be there.

First definite proof that Cally can also bring home the bacon, I mean mouse, and evidence of the warming of the atmosphere.
