We're back
Jul. 6th, 2007 07:19 amI'm an idiot - official. I caught a flight to Helsinki six hours later than the one I was booked on because I had to leave Heathrow to come home and pick up my passport...
Finland is lovely - particularly when you get out of Helsinki and up to the forests and lakes.
Moose hunting was unsuccessful, even though the roads are scattered with plenty of signs warning of their predilection for jumping out in front of you.
Back in the country without hitches, except to say Heathrow is a very bleak and depressing welcome to England. More of this later, perhaps.
Still, Penny's in England with me and we're off to Silverstone for the next three days.
