If only England had shown that sort of determination
That's a real shame. South Africa vastly underestimated the Pacific Islanders and really deserved to lose that match.

Never mind trying to qualify, England are now in danger of coming in fourth in this group.
Better against Samoa for England, much better. Even (at the last gasp) achieving the fourth try to get the bonus point. They're still not firing on all cylinders though and will need to play at least as much better again to get past Tonga. Some questionable stuff in the midfield still and Lewsey isn't a full-back - here's hoping Robinson is fit.

The game was a good one, the Samoans playing very well, though it wasn't an absolute Class A Craccker like SA/Tonga. As a Worcester man, I was very heartened by the performance put in by the Samoan full-back, Loki Crichton who signed for the Warriors over the summer.
