The sun is shining but it is not overly hot (unlike yesterday)

Most things currently seem right with the world apart from a sense of general boredom with work.

Friday's big meeting went pretty well. The folks on the Project Board seem happy with what I'm doing.

The weekend saw
A fun family wedding on Saturday up near Preston.
A drive down from the Midlands to Chadwell Heath on Sunday in the baking heat which was not fun.
A brief trip into Ilford to meet up with the friend who has made Penny's engagement ring and pick it up...

It's a thing of some beauty. Rarely have I spent money to such good effect.

Please excuse me butting in here, I followed you from the wonderful Caddyman's journal and look you were in Ilford! I live in Ilford ( yes, I'm THAT blessed) and just wanted to *wave* from Ilford :)
