Seminal tv Science Fiction (see below). Interesting three-dimensional characters at the core of it. Emotionally involving. - coffee:
Java
Jamaican Blue Mountain
Whittard's Guatemalan Elephant.
Buzz! - freeform games:
I enjoy being people other than myself. This end of the spectrum of games where I can do so is where I'm given a character description, a starting situation and a set of things the character is initially seeking to achieve. Whether it's a 12th Century mage in the excellent NWO games (see below) or a disguised Butch Cassidy in the last November weekend game I generally get a great deal of satisfaction. - grand design:
Not sure what to say here. I didn't really enjoy the couple of events I played, but that was down to the character I'd designed rather than the game itself. I could see people having enormous fun all around me, but being a grumpy tank proved not to be my thing. - kisses:
Yes please. - medieval history:
A fascinating period and that in which lived many of the giants on whose shoulders the modern world stands. - new world order games:
The last shall be as good as the first, inshallah. - reading:
I've been reading anything and everything since I was about three. My parents have an infamous photograph of me outside a chippy in West Wales happily consuming the deep-fried goodness while perusing a discarded newspaper on the ground which had wrapped somebody else's. - science fiction:
Release and experiencing the world through different eyes again. The best SF focusses on the characters. The alien worlds, time travel and other such are a means to explore human reactions to new situations. - women:
Endlessly fascinating. Never fully understandable. I'm privileged in my friendships with so many and in particular in the one who was mug enough to marry me.
