Oh dear. Half time against Georgia and they're only 7-3 up (with Georgia having 2/3 of the possession). England's troubles start to look smaller - at least they should qualify.

Argentina are looking very good to win that group at present.

Full-time update: Ireland win 14-10 and Georgia can count themselves very very unlucky not to have caused the major upset of the tournament. My money's now firmly on the Pumas for the pool.

Ireland are terrible at raising their game against weak opposition, which in football isn't an issue, but with these silly rugby rules is. It's almost like they want cricket scores over the minnows, rewarding extra points like they do.

Still, a win is a win, and while Ireland will struggle against the likes of the All Blacks or S'Africa, I still think we have the team, on our day, to worry them.
