Fast cars go Vroom!

A good couple of days at Silverstone so far. We spent yesterday walking slowly round the track wathcing different events from different points. Today was rather more static - we saw final practice from just by Bridge, qualifying from Club (excellent views of cars entering Stowe in the distance, through Vale and Club and vanishing down to the overtaking point at Abbey) - only spoiled by not knowing who was going how fast and would be dropping out in each segment. The GP2 race we saw from the Luffield A stand - this has a very good overview of the technical, slow section of the lap, helped by having bought a couple of radios tuned in to Radio Silverstone for commentary. If Lewis Hamilton isn't in an F1 seat next year there's something very wrong - he dominated the race. We're planning on watching from one of these two spots next year -with radios!
Tomorrow is the main race which should be good with Alonso on pole and Kimi next to him. I'm accompanied by a rather happy Penny. Anyone watching on the box we're in the enclosure by the Abbey chicane. It's supposed to be one of the best overtaking spots on the track, so should be good viewing.
