Yesterday I was sat cuddling my wife in bright sunshine on marble steps looking at a very pretty view including fountain, shuttered ochre-painted housing blocks and lots of bay trees.

Today it's grey, raining and miserable. Bah!

oh, have oodles of (genuine) sympathy. It's cold and dark and grey and I want to go back to Sorrento where it was warm and sunny and the food tastes better!

Would it be entirely tactless to be bouncy about the fact that ephraim and I are going to Paris on Sunday? It'll probably still be grey and wet, but at least it'll be Paris...

The only silver lining to that cloud that I can think of is that while it may not be "in bright sunshine on marble steps looking at a very pretty view including fountain, shuttered ochre-painted housing blocks and lots of bay trees" you still have the wife to cuddle :)
