Why Bristol?
What are the best and worst things in your life?
Do you have a particular life philosophy?

1. Originally, Bristol was where there was an interesting looking postgrad that took Arts graduates and aimed to turn them into Systems Analysts. I came to do the course, liked the place and stayed. It's big enough to have a lot going on, but small enough that it feels reasonable friendly and you can get to countryside quickly.

2. The best thing in my life is Penny, no two ways about that. The worst varies according to mood and circumstance.

3. I tend to see the good in people and be optimistic, but that's my nature rather than a philosophy, I suppose. Politically, I'm a Mill-style liberal. If anything, "Do as you would be done by".

Why don't you have a picture of you smiling as your icon?

Which cat is your favourite and why?

What's the most you've ever paid for a hooker?

(okay - ignore the last one - I ran out of ideas)

1. Because I can't find a decent one.

2. A. We don't have a favourite amongst our children.
B. Not the one who was stinky in the litter tray immediately after I cleaned it last night.
C. Megilley, who was part of our family when I was young.

3. I've never needed or wanted to. You?

What's your greatest regret?
What's your favourite city in the world, and why?
What/who got you into LRP?

I almost asked the same question as your first on - and then changed my mind! Interesting though (or perhaps not)

1. Very hard to answer, this one. There are many things that I regretted at the time, but if they'd happened differently I wouldn't be who and where I am now and I'm mostly happy with that person and place. Main one recently would be my boss jumping ship for Luton last year.

2. Rome. There's just so much there - history, architecture, people, food.

3. I'd been tabletopping for a while and wondered what it was like. I gave it a brief try with Heroquest in 1990 when I first arrived in Bristol, but really it was Matt Smith persuading me to go along to Fools and Heroes a few years later.

1. What one thing would buy if money was no object?
2. Who do you most admire and why?
3. If you could wipe one person from existince past or present who and why?

1. A house in the country, but close to town (don't know which town - probably Essex/Cambs way so we're close to Penny's folks. Big enough for a family, plus friends over to stay, with plenty of space in the grounds. Can I have enough cash to keep [livejournal.com profile] marktoy on the staff as gardner?

2. Several different people for different things. If I had to pick one, probably my dad. Just because.

3. I don't think I would. Too much chance of changing the way the world is. There's a number of people I'd happily never see again.
